Aline Weber: An Unusual Brazilian

 

As a child, Aline loves to collect eggs from her grandmother’s farm. Today, she prefers to collect model assignments.

Aline Weber Cleusa was born on March  22, 1989 in Santa Catarina, Brazil. As a photographer, she was discovered when he sent her snapshots in a modeling agency in Sao Paulo. Aline Weber falls through her ​​blond hair, porcelain complexion and blue eyes, which are rather unusual features of a Brazilian. The 17-year-old gave her catwalk debut in September 2005 at the New York Fashion Week. She also modeled for Tommy Hilfiger and Jenni Kayne. Later in her career, she is on the catwalk for Balenciaga, Daks, Requiem, Calvin Klein, Marc Jacobs, Narciso Rodriguez, D & G, Jason Wu, Oscar de la Renta, MaxMara , Stella McCartney, Yves Saint Laurent, Chloe, Chanel, Jean Paul Gaultier, Comme des Garcons and Proenza Schouler.

FILM AND EDITORIAL

Aline’s editorial career began in Brazil, where she posed for the Brazilian edition of “Vogue” and “Marie Claire”. Later, she is in Italian ELLE and “Harper’s Bazaar”. She also appeared on the cover of “Dazed & Confused”, photographed by Mariano Vivanco, as well as on the cover of “Russh” captured by Benny Horne and “Numéro”, photographed by Camilla Åkrans.

Aline also remodeled campaigns for D & G, photographed by Mario Testino, M for Missoni, H & M Divided, Derek Lam, DKNY and Moschino Cheap and Chic.

In Tom Ford’s critically acclaimed film, “A Single Man”, Aline had her first experience in the theater business, in where she assumed the role of the student, Lois.

PRIVATE LIFE

Aline has fond memories back to her childhood in which she played best in the country. Today, she likes skating with her friends. Her personal style would describe herself as the colorful Brazilian. Right now, she lives with her boyfriend, Brazilian model, Matheus Strapasson, in New York.
