Cyndi Lauper to Publish Her Memoirs
Cyndi Lauper says her book will show her true colors. The award-winning singer will published her memoirs later this year, that was announced Monday by Atria Books.
“Cyndi Lauper” story covers the performer’s troubled childhood to her rise in fame. The year 1980s was highlighted, as well as the “downs” of later years. In a statement released by Atria, Lauper, 58, said: “Sometimes I get the things right, sometimes not so well.”
Lauper’s successes include “True Colors”, “Girls Just Want to Have Fun” and “Time After Time”. Atria is an imprint of Simon & Schuster.
