Edgar Lozano, Winner of Elle Mexico Design 2012

 

After months of work, the Edgar Lozano of Guadalajara became the new promise of the Mexican fashion in the Elle Mexico platform in Design 2012. A night of many surprises was experienced by the 16 finalists, after the completion of a catwalk with their creations. This time, they were framed by the concept of evening gowns for red carpet.

The elegance in these unique pieces were highlighted. The jury included Matthew Williamson, Caroline Scheufele, Poppy Delevigne, Eugenia Silva and Alexander Neumann, who were captivated by the proposals of Edgar Lozano. 

Second place was awarded to Emedel Garcia of Tijuana, Baja California; the third for Veronica Diaz, followed by fourth and fifth positions for Maritza Peña and Maria Fernanda Rangel respectively. Natalia Lopez, winner of the last issue of Elle Mexico Design, also presented her new collection, in which pastel colors and billowing fabrics dominated.
