Madonna’a Album Falls
In the first week after going on sale, Madonna’s album, “MDNA”, has topped the charts including Billboard. However, in the second week, statistics fell by 88%.
According to Forbes magazine, for the first seven days, the new album from the Queen of Pop has sold 359,000 copies in the U.S. It appeared to have one of the biggest hits of the singer’s career. But in the next seven days, it only put 46,000 units, which is considered a historic drop in the path of the singer. “So far, MDNA has not produced any other hit singles, neither did the radio play songs,” says the publication. The explanation offered is that the magazine was expected to start promoting the album, which included a free ticket for the tour that starts in the U.S. Sadly, the singles “Give Me All Your Lovin” and “Girl Gone Wild” have had little impact.
