Dr. Dog Have New Album In Their Fate

Dr. Dog The Phillie Phanatic's favorite quintet (other than the Hooters) has announced the release of their next full-length album, Fate, on July 22nd via Park The Van.

According to a press release, "The eleven tracks that fill FATE embrace the inevitable consequences of human experiences and relationships and reinterpret them using the basic sounds of voice, bass, drum, piano and guitars."

Fair enough.

Stream: Unreleased Dr. Dog Music

Dr. Dog Phillie Phanatics Dr. Dog are digging into the archives to share—i.e. stream :( —an unreleased tune for every week of the dog days of summer. According to the band's MySpace page they "will begin posting one summer jam after another, free of fees, never before heard, recorded at various times in the last decade, all summer long." Today marks the posting of the inaugural jam, "Oh Me Oh My"—complete with karaoke style lyrics.
