Video: The Week That Was - "Scratch the Surface" (Ex Field Music)

After disbanding as a single entity last year, the Field Music cup continue to floweth over. Following his brother David Brewis' lead—who released his first post Field Music album, Sea From Shore, as School of Language earlier this year—Peter Brewis will deliver the eponymously titled The Week That Was on September 23rd through Memphis Industries. Both brothers appear in the dead-end office job themed video for "Scratch the Surface."

Video: School of Language - "Rockist Part 1"

Decipher Brewis' deep thoughts on the School of Language MySpace blog.

Last week, Brewis dropped news that School of Language will be releasing an album of "11 tracks and 39 minutes of fun" with a working title of Ships in early '08 through Thrill Jockey.
