The Little Black Jacket
An emblematic garment that can carry at any time of the day is worthy of receiving a tribute. And much more if it’s Chanel. Designer, Karl Lagerfeld, is a tribute to French fashion. He managed to collect in a book, models and loving celebrities of fashion, including Sarah Jessica Parker, Vanessa Paradis, Alice Dellal, Georgia May Jagger, and Laetitia Casta.
According to ABC.es, to make photos of the book, Lagerfeld counted with the collaboration of Carine Roitfeld, former Director of Vogue Paris. The publication brings together more than a hundred personalities: actors, artists, singers, or rock stars. Each one takes the blazer in their own way. ”Our favorite, by far, is Sarah Jessica Parker, who takes it on her the head (as if it were a Loewe handbag’, recounted the designer.)”
The book is called, “La Petite Veste Noire” and the exhibition mounted at Japan is titled, “The Little Black Jacket”. The exhibition takes place at Aoyama and is open to the public for free between March 24 and April 15. Sarah Jessica Parker who was at all times with Lagerfeld from the organization of the event, was surprised and amazed with the tribute to the little black Chanel jacket.
